My fascination with computers started at an early age. I grew up watching my dad piece together PCs that measured nothing in gigahertz or gigabytes. New hardware drivers did not install themselves, and video cards, well, they were roughly the same size as they are now but ran much cooler.
I never imagined I would stumble upon an opportunity to program as a career without a computer science degree. As soon as I learned about bootcamps (maybe 6 years ago) I tried everything I could to find a way to make the career switch. Fastforward to December 2021. I am a certified Full Stack Web Developer!
Anyone in the industry knows, this is only the beginning, but it's also the fun part! I spend my days imagining projects I can build in my spare time, and am trying to build on the knowledge base I've already learned. From full stack blog sites to video games, I've finally acquired the knowledge I'll need to get started on some ambitious applications.
Careers and hobbies aside, I am husband to a talented, supportive and beautiful wife, who has never once stopped rooting for me. I'm also a proud father to a energetic and brilliant son.
